PROCESS ENGINEERING
At Perigon, Process Engineering includes the design, operation, control, and optimization of chemical processes. Our staff of professionally registered engineers are comfortable performing process hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), conceptual front-end engineering design studies (FEED), development of equipment specifications, data sheets, process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) and process flow diagrams (PFD’s), and sizing, design and start-up of complete chemical processing systems.
We utilize several software packages for our design work including:
CHEMCAD™
Advanced chemical process simulation software that allows Perigon to provide equipment sizing, mass balance, and other process design deliverables with a high level of accuracy in a fraction of the time required for hand or spreadsheet calculations.
AFT Fathom™
Liquid and gas flow software used for sizing piping and ductwork, or for balancing flows that optimize system performance.
PHAWorks®
PHAWorks® is a specialized tool used for conducting PHA studies such as HAZOP, What If, FMEA, PrHA, and Checklist.
