The Instrumentation and controls group at Perigon offers instrumentation and process automation design and engineering services to support process and discrete manufacturing sectors around the world.

Perigon offers PLC, DCS and HMI development services in support of multi discipline projects as well as a standalone service to our clients in the process and manufacturing industries. As part of that service we also offer the information technology infrastructure to deploy automation services to the factory floor with integration to the plant wide IT infrastructure.

Our Staff stays current on industry trends and best practices in order to bring the best and most reliable solutions to the end users. Our experience includes many years of adapting to the various legacy platforms and our solutions cover both multi‐discipline and independent projects in batch chemical and continuous industrial processes.

Capabilities

  • Engineering and design of a wide variety of instrumentation systems for process industries to measure and control flow, temperature, pressure and levels.
  • Instrument Specification, Loop Sheet development and Location drawings in conjunction with our 3D development team.
  • Implementation of Instrumentation Data into Smart P&ID’s
  • Development of Control System documentation including I/O field wiring drawings, control panel schematics, and panel fabrication drawings
  • Development of extensive Instrumentation lists including process and I/O data.
  • Extensive experience implementing Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLC systems across the majority of processor and I/O platforms
  • Extensive experience using Rockwell Automation HMI hardware and software products including Server‐based HMI systems with Thick and Thin Client Architectures
  • Experience using other manufacturers PLC/HMI systems such as Emerson, Siemens, GE and Wonderware
  • Experience designing wide range of system sizes from a few I/O up to hundreds of I/O
  • Extensive experience implementing Ethernet Networks for use in control systems with integration to the plants business system
  • Experience with implementation of data acquisition systems
