Piping design is a core strength of Perigon. For more than 35 years Perigon has been a recognized leader of piping design services for the chemical, oil, gas, pharmaceutical and food service industries in our region. We were one of the first users in the Southeast of 2d AutoCAD™, 3d software (PDMS®), and now “smart P&ID” technology to increase the speed and quality of our designs. Our team of experienced designers primarily work to ANSI B31.1 and B31.3 codes, and have experience with, cGMP, lined, and jacketed piping systems.

Perigon is also able to provide piping flexibility studies for clients when the need arises. Flexibility studies are used to determine if fluid forces generated by high temperatures and pressure, or outside forces such as wind and seismic events impart dangerous stresses to a piping system that may cause it to fail. We use universally accepted software for our studies which include CAEPipe™, CAESAR II™, and AutoPIPE™.
