CONCEPTUAL AND FRONT-END PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING

Front End Loading (FEL) is a process of scope definition and risk assessment known as a stage-gate process.  Through creation of conceptual engineering document packages, which often include P&ID’s, Equipment Specifications, Equipment Layouts, Electrical Schematics, Instrument Lists, and others; Perigon can develop project scopes from which a budgetary project cost estimate can be prepared.   The progression of stage-gate engineering phases is employed whereby project definition is advanced from conceptual (FEL-1), to feasibility (FEL-2), to preliminary or definition phase (FEL-3), with cost estimates of expected improved accuracy being performed at each phase.

We take our name from the geometric angle of 360 degrees representing the full circle of engineering services we provide.
