Automotive Glass Manufacturing Facility

Project Desciption

Perigon performed detailed design and construction administration for the balance-of-plant scope of a new Automobile Glass Fabrication Plant for this industry leader.  The project involved structural/architectural additions and upgrades to an existing building including new electrical rooms and an expansive central energy plant.

The scope of installation also included utility distribution piping to manufacturing equipment, a new substation yard and underground duct bank, indoor unit substations, power distribution to local supply panels, the work included all new building ventilation, new building lighting, and renovations to production and administrative offices.  New production equipment required trenches and pits and other revisions to the existing structure.  Perigon assembled construction work packages used for permitting, bidding, and construction.  Construction was coordinated in the field by a Perigon Construction Management team.
